A science-fiction mystery

The discovery begins

Victoria Campos has wondered about Venus since childhood. After earning a doctorate in interplanetary geology, she joins NASA and works alongside Dr. Edward Mitchell to investigate mysterious objects hidden beneath the planet's clouds.

As the evidence points toward an ancient civilization, the discovery is suppressed, reputations are destroyed, and Victoria finds herself at the center of an international contest for the truth.

Her lifelong question has an answer—but sharing it may be the most dangerous thing she has ever done.

The woman behind the science

Victoria, before NASA

Long before secret projects and international intrigue, there was a young girl in Irvington, Virginia, looking through a telescope she built herself.

Those childhood experiences inspired a rich fictional history set around the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay.
