For parents: what happens in the story
Joey, a young Australian kangaroo determined to become the greatest jumper, discovers why his mother warned him to stay away from the road.
Joey unexpectedly lands in a moving truck and is carried away from everything familiar. The truck finally stops near home, and he returns to his mother—resolved never to jump on the road again.
